The Zachary Taylor Branch of the Tarsan Worlds is an alternative reality in which Edgar Allan Poe did not die in 1849, and President Zachary Taylor lived to successfully prosecute the Secession War in 1850.  His Whig Party remains the dominant American political party until the late 20th Century.  This alternate reality is the home of my early short stories, all unpublished to date, and excerpts of which are included in the following pages.  My more recent short stories are based in realities with different Jonbar Points, such as Gus Grissom surviving the Apollo One Fire in my first published short story, “The Gray Horizon.”
