Amari Gorgas is seeking exotic life in the cold hydrocarbon lakes of Titan, and is the only modified human in the Outer Ecliptic capable of the task. He finds Titan both alive and dead, aliens both absent and just over the horizon, until he himself becomes Fermi’s Cat.
